FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. Do I need previous survival or outdoor experience? No specialist experience is required. The expedition combines practical instruction with hands-on challenges. A willingness to learn, contribute and work as part of a team is more important than arriving with advanced skills.
2. How physically demanding is the expedition? The expedition includes physical challenges, outdoor activities and time in winter conditions. Participants should have a reasonable level of fitness and be comfortable with sustained activity. We will discuss suitability during the enquiry process.
3. What is included in the price? The £2,495 participation fee covers the seven-day guided programme, accommodation at Fit Ranch, practical training and field challenges, plus a field manual and skills record. Meal arrangements, transfers and any additional inclusions will be confirmed before booking.
4. What should I bring? Participants will receive a recommended packing list before arrival, covering suitable winter clothing, footwear and personal essentials. Any specialist equipment requirements will be explained in advance.
5. Where is the expedition held? Winter Expedition 001 takes place at Fit Ranch in Central Serbia, with activities based around the ranch and surrounding countryside. Travel and arrival instructions will be provided before the expedition.
6. How many participants will there be? The expedition is limited to a maximum of four participants. This allows for individual attention, close teamwork and a more immersive learning experience.
7. How do I secure my place? Send an enquiry introducing yourself and explaining why you would like to participate. After discussing your suitability and confirming availability, a £495 deposit secures your place. Full payment and cancellation terms will be provided before booking.
